It’s the time of year to be outdoors and of course to braai.

Recently a member asked for our braai basting recipe. We make large quantities so one can reduce the amounts and play around with the recipe to adapt to your own taste. 


200ml Mrs Ball’s chutney

½ Can coke

500ml bbq sauce

250 ml Worchester sauce

1, 5 litres Ketchup

½ cup dried mixed herbs

2 heaped tablespoons paprika

2 heaped tablespoons onion powder

2 heaped tablespoons garlic powder
