Another financial year has passed and we were faced with a number of unexpected challenges. Financials have been finalised with the auditors and will be available in the AGM pack. We encourage members to attend the 94th Annual General Meeting on Monday, 3 June in the Ballroom.

Declining Membership is one of our biggest challenges we face at the Club and it is encouraging to note that we have received fewer resignations than were budgeted for in the last financial year. Our new Jonas financial system has been implemented and with any new system comes a few teething issues, and we thank our members for their patience with the implementation of the new paypoints. Our new website has launched and the Kelvin app will be launched later this year. Members will be notified as how to:

• Activate their login
• Make function/tennis & squash court bookings
• View online statements and account transactions
• Make restaurant bookings
• Make personal training bookings
• Make online payment

Winter is fast approaching and the new Terrace winter menu will be launched soon in addition to birthday specials during the
month of July.

CORRECTION TO THE CHAIRMAN’S COLUMN IN THE ANNUAL REPORT:
In the recent Chairman’s column of the annual report, I referred to WPCC (Western Province Cricket Club) committing to
construct, at their expense, a dedicated right hand turn at our main entrance, but they have no interest in this matter. This is a
development by WPCA (Western Province Cricket Association).

Kind Regards
CLUB CHAIRMAN
PETER BLANCKENBERG
